Gunny, who’s real name is kept a tight secret only known to a few people, is the Chief of all tactical combat, combatant training, strategic advisor and all weapons aboard ship.  His primary role as 4th in command is to ensure that the crew is trained in combat drill and tactics to include potential boarding scenarios and proactive debarking scenarios. He is in charge of ship security, including heading a small team of marines who serve as guards and labor during peace and combatants during warfare. And he is in charge of the maintenance and upkeep of all armanents large and small abord the Dragonfly. As Such he is a member of senior staff and works directly with the Company Quartermaster Sergeant, Father Silva, in ensuring a well armed crew.
